Privacy Policy

The short version
fxjima apps are built so that we can't see your data. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. Intelligent features run on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. We do not collect, store, sell, or share personal data.
Who we are
fxjima is an independent app studio operated by Mihai Marin, an independent developer based in Bucharest, Romania. You can reach us any time at support@fxjima.com.
What our apps collect
Nothing is transmitted to fxjima. Your content — journal entries, flashcards, sound presets, plans, and anything you type or capture — is processed and stored on your device.
- On-device intelligence. AI features use Apple's on-device Foundation Models. Your prompts and content are processed locally on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and are not sent to fxjima.
- Optional Private Cloud mode. Where an app offers an optional "Private Cloud" mode, it is clearly labeled in the app and runs on Apple's Private Cloud Compute under Apple's privacy protections. fxjima never receives your content in either mode.
- Camera and photos. Where an app reads a page through the camera — as Bowerbird does — the image is recognised on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and fxjima never receives the image or the text.
- iCloud sync. If an app offers sync or backup, it uses the private iCloud database attached to your Apple Account, governed by Apple's terms. We cannot read it.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, address, or payment details. Apple provides us with anonymized, aggregated sales reports only. Where an app offers a subscription — such as Bowerbird Pro — it is billed and renewed by Apple, and you can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings at any time.
This website
fxjima.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and makes no third-party requests. Nothing about your visit is collected by us. As with any website, our hosting provider processes standard request data such as IP addresses in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse — fxjima receives none of it.
If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you and improve the apps. Ask, and we'll delete the thread.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — children included, since we collect none at all.

Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the release notes of affected apps.
